My girl got braces today. She was excited to pick out her colors, and so far she doesn't have any pain. The braces make her look more like a teenager and less like a young girl. Very scary. After these braces come off, she is really gonna be gorgeous.

Bless her heart. I, to this day, remember trying to eat pizza after having my braces tightened that day. I think I may have cried. I really love pizza. Maybe memories like this are the reason I hated high school so much. (Karen, you would know the extremely funny story behind Becca and me hating high school if you joined facebook. I'm just saying.) (Becca, do you think this type of manipulation is working? I doubt it, she's a tough cookie.)

Braces were something I avoided, although I've had disparaging comments from my dentist about this. The divorce settlement with my first wife was simple, she got a lump-sum price on braces and enough money to pay it.

I had braces. I didn't really wear my retainer though. Man, I hated the retainer.

Braces!? Congratulations, Sugar. I say that because I know you and how excited you are. Weirdo. Braces are a breeze, just wait till they come off and you get a retainer and age 10 years from the stress of trying to hide the fact that you lost it again from your Mother.
DO NOT tell funny stories on Facebook without me! That is what superfun Twitter is for. You just have to tell the stories in short sentences over several days. Oh, the suspense!

Your girl still looks as pretty as you are, even after she got her braces on! Yay! And I'm really excited to see how will she look like after months of having those! I know that she'll be more beautiful once she removed those braces. =)
