Scapegoat?

As I am still without a working camera battery, as well as busy cleaning for a visit from my sister tomorrow I am merely posting an interesting trivia bit I learned on my trip:

We have all heard the term scapegoat. Where did it come from? It turns out that sheep farmers would keep a few fainting goats on hand. When the valuable sheep were attacked by a predator, the fainting goats would unwillingly sacrifice themselves, allowing the sheep to escape. Scape goat. Nice...
