TCHO- The latest from Blake Makes

I received a package in the mail today. I knew what it was immediately. The latest free food giveaway from Blake Makes. I was thrilled when I was one of the fifty people to receive this particular giveaway. Chocolate.

TCHO  is a different sort of chocolate company. Their testers are their customers. They are constantly adjusting their formula to bring out what ever characteristic they are trying to hit. The one I received was marked " chocolatey". They were not going for fruity or nutty this time.



Now I love chocolate; I crave chocolate. I eat a bit on a daily basis. I love dark chocolate; I prefer to eat it though in baked goods. In bar form, dark chocolate is just usually so snappy that it feels like you have to work to get it to melt in your mouth.

Usually when I am wanting to eat a bar of good chocolate I reach for a dark milk chocolate. It is creamy and not too sweet.

This TCHO is different. It is very dark and totally full flavored. The texture though was very nice. So smooth that it made me forget it was so dark. It didn't necessarily break with a snap. At least here in Louisiana, right?



This was really really good. I was trying to pick out the different flavors while I was savoring it. Obviously they are doing a pretty good job. I kept getting "chocolatey".

I cannot wait to try it again as it evolves...

I got mine today as well, he said I didn't have to have a recipe with it but I think I will try something:)
